The Hood River Valley Parks and Recreation District is finalizing plans to ask voters to approve ballot measures to replace the Hood River Aquatic Center and develop parks and trails. Parks and Recreation recently reached out to the City of Hood River to consider a land swap, building the new pool and community center right next to Jackson Park, in exchange for the current pool site.
