HOOD RIVER CHESS LEAGUE

The Hood River Chess League will be managed by Hood River Valley Parks + Recreation District.

League Format:

Open to Kinder - 5th Graders
League competition will be by school of attendance
Single or Double Round-robin scheduling (depending on how many players sign up)
Each player will have at least two chess matches per day
Players that sign-up are committing to playing all league match dates
School Champions will meet in the Championship Tournament
Prizes awarded to the Grade Champion, School Champion and Championship Tournament winner

Practice dates: Tuesdays beginning March 4th

League Competition dates: Thursdays / March 13th - April 10th

** No Practices/Games during Spring Break **

Championship Tournament: April 12th (12 PM start)

Location: Hood River County School District Schools

Game times: After School / Exact Times: TBA

League fees $65/player cover direct costs that include league management, supplies, and prizes
