Winter Youth Indoor Ultimate Skills Clinic ❄️

This program is jointly managed by Hood River Valley Parks + Recreation District and the Gorge Ultimate Frisbee club.

Who can sign up: Open to all 3rd - 9th graders

Program description: 

This winter, Gorge Ultimate Frisbee Academy is taking Outdoor Ultimate Frisbee INDOORS!  We are excited to present this wintertime version of our spring skills academy that will feature Ultimate Frisbee games on a basketball-sized court with 3-5 players on each team. Participants will learn how to throw, catch, and move the frisbee, along with general principles of the game. Each of our sessions will offer structured pick-up games intermixed with skill-building.

First Session Sunday, Dec 1st

Session Dates

Dec 1, Dec 8, Dec 15, Jan 5, Jan 12 and Jan 19

Days / Times: Sundays / 4 - 5:30 PM 

Practice Location Westside Elementary School gym

Please bring:  Athletic shoes and a water bottle

*Note: 

As an additional bonus, we'll follow up the Youth Indoor Skills Clinic with Adult Indoor Pick-up from 5:30-7 p.m. -- parents or older participants (14 and older) are welcome and encouraged to join those games!
