Hood River Parks + Rec's Active Rx Program funded by Columbia Gorge Health Council allows individuals with social service benefits to swim or take swim lessons for free, with options for monthly passes, swim lessons, or a summer family pass available.

HRVPRD will be offering additional presentations on the proposed bond and levy ball measures at the Hood River Aquatic Center in the party room. Presentation dates will be Tuesday, April 30 from 12:00-1:00PM and Tuesday, May 7 from 5:30-6:30 PM.

Join us for a collaborated event with the Hood River Watershed Group for a morning of planting native trees and shrubs along the Indian Creek Trail on April 20th. Snacks, tools, and gloves provided.

The Hood River Valley Parks and Recreation District is finalizing plans to ask voters to approve ballot measures to replace the Hood River Aquatic Center and develop parks and trails. Parks and Recreation recently reached out to the City of Hood River to consider a land swap, building the new pool and community center right next to Jackson Park, in exchange for the current pool site.
