Have you heard about our Active Rx Program?
Hood River Parks + Rec has received grant funding through Columbia Gorge Health Council for the Active Rx Program for 2024. These funds will ensure that all people have access to the pool and the Learn to Swim program.
If you receive any type of social service benefit (like, but not limited to SNAP, WIC, Foster Care Providers, Oregon Health Plan, Free and Reduced Lunch Program, and Senior Services), then you are eligible to participate in the Active Rx Program and swim or take swim lessons for free.
Each person who qualifies will be able to receive two of the following services:
Monthly Pass: Expires after one month and is perfect if you plan to come more than twice per week
Swim Lessons
Summer Family Pass: Good from the last day of school through Labor Day. We are allowing families to sign up for this pass starting May 1st. Limited amount available
