SOCCER TOTS CAMP OVERVIEW
Who Can Sign Up: 3 - 5 yrs olds (not in kindergarten)
Program Description
The Soccer Tots Summer Camp program includes 3 sessions and is designed for children 3 to 5 years old (Not in Kinder). The objective is to provide a positive soccer experience for each young player. To accomplish this, we have adopted a philosophy focuses on fun and development. There will be theme-based programs where players will be introduced to the basics: dribbling, ball control, passing and scoring through fun games! The players will be placed into small groups, each player will have a ball and will work with one volunteer coach.

SOCCER GOALKEEPER ACADEMY⚽🧤

Who can sign up 2nd - 8th graders (co-ed)
Program Description
Former HRV standout goalkeeper, Vanessa Silva, (class of 2017) will be running this academy. Silva was an All-Conference and State selection in high school and played 4 years of collegiate soccer at Johnson County CC and Baker University in Kansas.
Five 1-hour sessions included
The focus will be on fundamentals like handling, footwork, diving technique and other essential goalie skills
Players will participate in game-like scenarios that will translate to their game knowledge
All activities will be fun and engaging
First Session Thursday, August 1st

Dates: August 1st, 5th, 8th, 12th and 15th
Days: Mondays and Thursdays

EAGLE yOUTH SOCCER CAMP 🦅⚽
This program will be run by Hood River Valley Parks + Recreation District and the Hood River Valley Eagles Girls Soccer program
Who can sign up 1st to 6th graders (Boys & Girls)
Program Description
This 3-day camp is designed for youth 1st to 6th graders. The camp’s purpose is to provide a positive experience for each participant. At Eagle Youth Soccer Camp participants will have a great time playing with their friends as well as improve their basic skills: dribbling, ball control, passing, combination play, shooting, and group / team play.
*Proceeds support the Hood River Valley High School Girls Soccer team

G1⚽ SOCCER ACADEMY

Who Can Signup
Boys + Girls 3rd - 6th graders (as fall of 2024)
Program Description
Take part in this skills academy, run by former HRV State Champion (class of 2016), University of Portland Alum, and former professional player Gio Magaña-Rivera.
The focus will be on fundamentals like dribbling, ball control, moves and position specific skills.
Players will participate in 1v1 activities involving defending and attacking scenarios.
Scrimmages and fun activities will be included at the end of each session
4 one-hour sessions are included
