League Mission

Administer, develop and promote participation in adult volleyball within the local community and state, through a safe and positive playing experience at a competitive level. 

SAND VOLLEYBALL LEAGUE🏐

The Co-ed Volleyball League will be managed by Hood River Valley Parks + Recreation District.

League Description

  • League purpose: Players have varying playing experience and teams will experience a fun but competitive atmosphere

  • Co-ed teams consist of 4 players minimum (at least 1 female on the court at all times). Teams will play 1 or 2 game per week.

  • Each team guaranteed 6 regular season matches, with a playoffs tournament to culminate the season.

  • We will need a minimum of 4 teams per division to run this league

  • Players must be 18 years or older

  • Teams will self-officiate games

  • Game days: Mondays

Oak Grove Park, Hood River, OR

IMPORTANT DATES

  • Registration opens: Monday, Mar 17th  

  • Late registration begins: May 19th

  • Registration closes: Monday, June 2nd  

  • Team Manager meeting: Monday, June 9th (6 pm - 7 pm / Hood River Aquatic Center)

  • First practices: Team Captain’s choice

  • First games: Monday, June 16th

  • Tentative Playoff game date: Monday, July 28th  

TEAM REGISTRATION OPENS MARCH 17th (5 PM)

Register Your Team - Follow these Steps:

  1. Team Managers download and complete this form: Submit Team Roster

  2. Email (scan or photo) completed form to Jaime Rivera and Gio Magana

  3. Team Managers collect fees from players

Pay Your Team Registration Fee - 2 Options:

  1. Pay on-line with a credit card/debit card $ 360 (save $ 100)

    • Register for the Sand Volleyball League

  2. Pay in-person with check, cash or credit card $ 460

    • Location: Hood River Aquatic Center, 1601 May Street, Hood River, OR

    • Monday - Thursday, 10 am - 5 pm

FREE AGENTS

Free Agent Registration

  • If you don’t have a team, you can still sign up!

  • Free Agents will be placed onto a team together

  • Players will elect a Team Manager to represent the team at League meetings and to vote on rules and other decisions as needed.

Register for the Free Agent Team: Rec Div. ($55/player)
