Budget Committee Member Needed
The Hood River Valley Parks and Recreation District is seeking to fill a vacancy on its Budget Committee and is inviting interested community members to apply.
The Budget Committee plays a key role in reviewing the district’s annual budget, helping ensure transparency, accountability, and the responsible use of public funds. This is a great opportunity for residents to be directly involved in supporting the financial health and priorities of the district.
The selected applicant will serve a three-year term, with a commitment of one to two meetings per year. The next meeting is scheduled for May 26. The Board of Directors will appoint the new committee member at its April board meeting.
Eligibility Requirements:
Applicants must be registered voters residing within the district’s boundaries.
