🏀LITTLE BALLERS BASKETBALL LEAGUE
This program is managed by Hood River Valley Parks + Recreation District
Who can sign up: Kinder - 2nd grade students (Boys and Girls)
⚠️Boys and girls will be on separate teams this year
About the program: Introductory experience where young basketball players learn the basic skills, offensive and defensive principles, and teamwork skills.
VOLUNTEER COACHES NEEDED
Volunteer Coaches are needed to coach these teams! Upon completion of the season, volunteers are eligible to get their child’s registration fees waived. Please consider signing up!
Pre-season Coaches Meetings (two options - choose one)
Monday, Jan 19th or Wednesday, Jan 21st
Time: 6 pm - 7 pm / Location: TBA
pROGRAM OVERVIEW
Players will be placed into age-appropriate groups led by one adult volunteer coach; basic dribbling, shooting and passing skills will be taught through fun games. Sessions will end with kids playing 3-on-3 and 4-on-4 basketball. This program includes two pre-season jamborees, practices, scrimmages and Saturday games.
⚠️Why the changes in schedule? This season we are starting in February and aiming to avoid conflicts with other user groups. The change in dates will help us achieve this goal.

Days: Tuesdays / Dates: Feb 3, 10 + March 3 / Time: 5:30 - 6:30 PM
PRE-SEASON JAMBOREE
Dates: Sat, Feb 7th / Time: Approx 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM
SCRIMMAGES (PRACTICE GAMES)
Days: Thursdays / Dates: Feb 19 + 24 / Time: 5:30 - 6:30 PM
GAME DAYS
Dates: Sat., Feb. 14, 28 + March 7 / Time: Approx 9am- 1:30pm
Game Schedules: exact schedules will be released after the Coaches Meetings
