Culbertson Park, located in the Pacific Heights subdivision, is named after Jack Culbertson, a lifelong resident of the Hood River Valley. He, and wife Dorothy, became the neighborhood 'grandparents' of Pacific Heights. Jack was a WWII POW who served his country from June 3, 1943 to January 1, 1946 in the Army Air Corps.
Naming this park after the Culbertson family recognizes and honors those who have helped to keep America free and safe, and allows us to enjoy the wonderful quality of life that we have.
