Hood River Valley Parks and Recreation is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor. We are looking for a “Jack or Jill of all trades.” We need someone who can operate a chainsaw, troubleshoot a problem with pool chemicals, reconcile a credit card, direct employees, and rebuild a pump, all in the same day. Candidate should be familiar with basic construction, landscaping, basic mechanical, supervising, basic administrative skills, and an understanding of how to operate machinery. This candidate reports to the director and is responsible for supervising three to five part time employees. Must be flexible with change and willing to learn.

About us: The Hood River Valley Parks and Recreation District manages the Hood River Aquatic Center Seven parks and six miles of trails. We are a small team of four full time employees and 30 part time and seasonal employees.

This is a full-time salary (exempt from overtime) position.
