The Hood River Cornhole League will be managed by Hood River Valley Parks + Recreation District.

League Mission

Administer, develop and promote participation in youth cornhole within the local community, through a safe and positive playing experience

LEAGUE OVERVIEW

It has been called many things – Corn Toss, Bean Bag, Bean Toss, Soft Horseshoes, and Indiana Horseshoes – but to many of us the game is passionately known as Cornhole. Cornhole is a game in which small bags are tossed at a target consisting of an inclined wooden platform with a hole at one end. Co-ed teams will have 2 - 4 players per team. The Fall League will last for four weeks including a playoff tournament

Who can sign up: Boys + Girls 3rd/4th graders and 5th/6th graders (2025-2026 school year)

Format: Co-ed Doubles teams

League game days: Fridays / Dates: Aug 8th - Sept 5th

League Game times:

  • 3rd-4th Grade: 2 matches per night - 5:00 PM and 5:30 PM

  • 5th-6th Grade: 2 matches per night - 6:15 PM and 6:45 PM

End-of-Season Tournament: Saturday, Sept. 6th / 12:00 PM start

Game Location: Ferment Brewing Grassy lawn

ROSTERS + ELIGIBILITY

  • Rosters will consist of 2 - 4 players

  • 2 Divisions: 3rd/4th Grade and 5th/6th Grade

  • Choose your teammates with the link below or be placed onto a team

  • A player can only play on one Hood River Parks + Recreation District cornhole team.

REGISTRATION IS OPEN

  • Registration fee $ 75 per player

  • League fees cover direct costs that include league management, supplies, and awards/prizes

Rules for choosing teammates:

  • Players must be from the same division: 3rd/4th or 5th/6th

  • Parents and players must be in agreement about teammates

  • League communication will be sent to parent’s email

  • Parents will be responsible for passing along information to players

  • Championship Tournament date: Saturday, Sept. 6th / 12:00 PM start
