Hood River Valley Parks & Rec partnered with 4 local agenices — City of Hood River, Hood River County, Hood River County School District, and Port of Hood River — to create this plan. The plan established a path, guiding efforts of agencies in providing quality, community-based parks, trails, natural areas, and recreational opportunities. The Plan was developed with input from residents. It identified goals to guide decision making by agencies, including strategies for parkland acquisition and prioritizing areas where service deficiencies exist.
