League Mission

Administer, develop and promote participation in adult soccer within the local community and state, through a safe and positive playing experience at a competitive level. 

Women’s Summer 7 v 7 Soccer League⚽

The Women’s Soccer League will be managed by Hood River Valley Parks + Recreation District

Women’s 7 v 7 League Overview

• Players ages 14 and up can sign up for this league

• Players in this league have varying playing experience and teams will experience a friendly, fun and competitive atmosphere

• Teams will play 7 v 7 (with goalies).

• Max roster size 12

• Teams will play 1 game per week. Game days will be Sundays.

• Each team guaranteed 7 games including a single game elimination playoff tournament

• Game days: Sundays (or Fridays)

IMPORTANT DATES

• Registration opens March 1st

• Registration Closes Friday, May 17th

• Team Manager Meeting, Monday June 3rd (6-7:30 pm at Hood River Aquatic Center)

• Team rosters due: Mon, June 3rd (bring to the Team Manager meeting)

• First Practices: June 9th

• League Game dates: Jun 16th - Jul 21

• Playoffs: Sun, July 28 / Exact Schedule TBA

REGISTER YOUR TEAM NOW

Team Registration Fee: $400/Team

• The team registration fee covers fields, scheduling, refs and game balls

• Teams are responsible for their own uniforms, practice balls, and other equipment

Register Your Team - Follow these Steps:

1. Team Managers download and complete this form: Team Roster + Waiver

2. Email completed form to Jaime Rivera and Gio Magana

3. Team Managers collect fees from players

Pay Your Team Registration Fee - 2 Options:

1. Pay on-line with a credit card/debit card $ 400 (save $ 100)

2. Pay in-person with check, cash or credit card $ 500

   • Location: Hood River Aquatic Center, 1601 May Street, Hood River, OR

   • Monday - Thursday, 10 am - 5 pm

FREE AGENTS

If you don’t have a team, you can still sign up! Free Agents will be placed onto a team together and players will need to elect a Team Manager to represent them at team meetings and to vote on league rules and other decisions as needed.

Free Agent Registration: Womens 7 v 7 League ($50/player)

DROP-IN PLAYERS

If you feel like you cannot commit to the whole season, there is an opportunity to play as a guest player.

• Games are not guaranteed

• If you do not play on the date you signed up for, you will be able to play the next date(s) or be reimbursed

• Register below for the dates that you are available: $10/game

  • June 16th / June 23rd / June 19th / July 7th / July 14th / July 21st

TEAM MANAGERS

• Represent/participate the team in league meetings (in-person or virtual), 

• Respond and attend to league communication (email, text, phone calls), 

• Communicate to team members about practice/game schedules, 

• Maintain records for the team (scores, wins-losses, etc.) and

• Communicate team concerns to Parks and Recreation staff
