Parks in the Hood River Valley

Working in cooperation with the City, the District is working on improving playground equipment at a number of city parks. Culbertson Park, located in the Pacific Heights subdivision, was completed in 2003 and an open space is provided in the Hazelview subdivision located at 1711 Heritage Loop.

The Hood River Valley is a wonderful place to recreate!

The District’s role has expanded from operating the Hood River Aquatic Center to meeting a variety of the community parks and recreational needs.

Currently, we provide for the recreational needs of the community through the Aquatic Center, Skate Park, Small Parks, including Culbertson Neighborhood Park, Hazelview Park, Barrett Community Park and Morrison Disc Golf Park, and the Indian Creek Trail.

Many local parks are managed by the port, city or county of Hood River. Click on the links buttons to see what entity controls what park and their contact information.
