RegistrationRegistration is currently in progress for swim lessons. You can register in person at the Aquatic Center or you can print out the registration form and mail it with your payment. Please read the class descriptions and prerequisites on this page for proper class placement.
The fee for Tuesday & Thursday evening swim lessons is $30 for six lessons, 30 minute classes. For $36, your child can swim before or after swim lessons. For $42, one parent and the child can swim before or after swim lessons.
The fee from Monday-Thursday Morning swim lessons is $40 for eight, $48 for lessons plus before and after for child, $56 from child & parent before and after

Ages 6 months - 5 yearsThis class is designed to introduce children to the water with the help of their parents. Stressing the fun of being in the water, this class involves exploring the water through games and play. Contact the Aquatic Center for registration information.
This class is for children who have no experience in the water or who are hesitant about water. Taught without a parent, it will encourage children to become comfortable in the water. Pre-Level 1 swim skills are taught.

This class is for children who are comfortable being in water but need to develop basic skills such as: bubble blowing, submerging the face and head, supported front and back float, breathing, and kicking.
Fort children who are able to submerge head for 5 seconds, float on front and back, glide 5 yards on back and front, kicking and arm actions not yet coordinated.
This class covers skills such as: submerging head for 5-10 sends, retrieving objects from shallow water, independent front and back floats, co-ordinated kick and arm stroke for 5-10yards. Introduction to deep water. Introduction to backstroke and breast stroke kick.
Front & Back crawl skills, introduction to rotary breathing, retrieving objects from bottom, working in deep water.
This class continues to work with swimmers on the front and back crawl. Introductions to breaststroke, elementary backstroke and sidestroke.
This class is a refinement of front crawl, backstroke, breaststroke, elementary backstroke, and sidestroke. Introduction to turns on the wall, butterfly kick.
This class covers skills such as: dolphin kick, alternate side breathing, introduction to butterfly, distance swimming, refinement of front crawl, backstroke, and breaststroke.
